1. No smoking inside; designated smoking areas outside.
2. Dispose of cigarette butts properly; no littering.
3. Wear the provided life jackets during water activities.
4. Parents and guardians are responsible for children's safety and behaviour.
5. No diving or jumping off the houseboat; use designated swimming areas.
6. Respect quiet hours for a peaceful environment.
7. Respect wildlife and the environment; no littering.
8. Prohibited: illegal substances, fireworks, and hazardous materials.
9. Follow fishing regulations; respect catch limits and protected species.
10. Follow emergency procedures as discussed.
11. No pets are allowed.
12. Follow the check-out procedures provided.
13. Comply with local laws and regulations.
14. Non-compliance may lead to eviction without a refund.

Damage Protection
This property is protected by Just Be Lekker (JBL), the travel reputation platform. Guests are required to pay a R400 non-refundable damage waiver fee (R5,000 worth of accidental damage cover) OR have a R2,500 refundable security deposit (per room)
hold placed on their card to gain access to the property. The guest will be sent a link by JBL to verify their booking.

Please note that should a guest choose the refundable security deposit, a R47 service fee will be charged by JBL. This fee covers the cost of verifying the booking and ensuring the property's protection. Just Be Lekker aims to provide a secure and reliable booking experience for all guests.

While the security deposit / damage waiver fee will be processed 1 day before check-in, we advise you to complete the JBL verification process as soon as possible to avoid any complications with your booking
